Harley-Davidson presents
2nd Annual Hong Kong HOG Rally 2006

Harley-Davidson - Many motorcycle lovers should know this world famous brand of motorcycle and be impressed by its powerful noisy engine with its excellent tailor made design.

In order to share the passion of all Harley owners and fans, the Harley Owners Group, Hong Kong Chapter (“HOGHK”) will hold their 2nd Annual Hong Kong HOG Rally from 21st to 22nd October at Ho Chung in Sai Kung, which is an international event.

Since the 1st National Rally in 2005 was a tremendous one, everyone is looking forward to another exciting Rally this year.  It is with great honor that the Vice President of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and its delegation will fly in from Milwaukee, U.S.A. to officiate this annual event which is a tradition amongst HOG Chapters around the world. 

 In addition, representatives from worldwide HOG Chapters such as Australia, Dubai, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden and U.S.A. HOG will also join us for this exciting event.

The theme of the Annual Rally this year is “Mini Woodstock”.  There will be a live band performance, games, competitions, lucky draws, camping and fine gourmet to entertain your event. 

All members and friends may choose to camp overnight at the venue after a whole day of joyful celebration.  Our Annual Official Ride on 22nd October morning will consist of over 100 members participating to form a Harley parade in high spirit to heat up the road. 

This is a remarkable event for all members and friends to get together and share their joy and experience of being a Harley owner and enthusiast.  Most importantly, HOGHK keeps organizing charity events, such as visiting Elderly Homes, donating funds to charitable organizations and events such as the Children's Cancer Fund, Make a Wish Fund, Mother’s Choice, Duchess of Kent Children Hospital, Society for Spastic Children and Tsunami Victims in 2005 etc.  With the aim of contributing to the community, all proceeds from the 2nd Annual Rally this year will go to the HOGHK charity fund for organizing charity projects in future.  It is highly appreciated that all Harley owners are not only concerned about their motorcycles but everyone who are in need throughout the world and in our community.

Harley-Davidson established the Harley Owners Group in 1983 in response to a growing desire by Harley riders for an organized way to share their passion and show their pride.  In 1991 HOG officially went international. Worldwide membership numbered over 150,000, with 685 local chapters.  With Harley owners’ encouragement, HOG hysteria spread into Asia, including chapters in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Korea, Japan and Indonesia.  Today, more than a million members make HOG the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle organization in the world and it shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
